If you go to this site, it shows a cartoon and how zany it is. It doesn't use the word but obviously points out the humor in it.
As you can see in the cartoon, this man sees his shadow and how it looks exactly like him. He says, "Well that's something you don't see everyday." This cartoon is zany because this man should know that his shadow is going to look exactly like him. I got a good laugh out of it. Enjoy!
